Is there any rental shop for thai dvd movies in pattaya.

The rental shop with german dvds I know.

But I look for a shop which has also rental of local dvds in thai language or english with thai subs. No illegal copies, which are many times in low quality (screeners)

Try any "Video EZ" or "Tsutaya". I live on the dark side, so the only ones I know of are the Video EZ on Khao Talo and the Tsutaya on Nern Plub Wan. There used to be a Tsutaya on Tukcom, but I believe it's relocated.

Plenty of rental shops around and the vast majority of movies offer Thai subtitles in the main menu

Tsutaya at Tesco on Pattaya Nua, seen others as well.

Many DVDs are English/Thai Sound & Subtitles, varies with the film.
