I just downloaded the latest version of Firefox 3. RC1 and installed it but there's some problem: On the top of the Thaivisa Page, right from the TV Logo, I get a blank part with an message to install missing PlugIn!

That PlugIn is the Adobe Flash Player which I installed several times but without luck: it didn't works!

Anyone has the same problem?

Cheers.

I have been using the Beta release of Firefox 3 under Linux.

Almost all the plugins refuse to install as "not tested",

otherwise no problems that I have noted.

Download them from their respective websites, unpack them and copy all files to `/usr/lib/firefox-addons/plugins` then restart FF.

May the problem is with vista 64 Bit, on Vista 32 bit work just fine. Installed on an other Vista 64 Bit and Server 2008 64 Bit, the same problem happens!

Cheers.

Works fine on Mac OSX, no flash issues. However some plugins need an update, which is not yet available.

No problems using FF3 RC with XP on the PC, and Vista SP1 on the lappy.

And the best news is that it appears to have solved a conflict I was getting between FF and Java, whereby FF would just shut down for no apparent reason.

The last time I tried, about 70% of my extensions didn't work with FF3.

I just noticed that I do have 10 updated extensions ready for me, so perhaps that figure of 70% is now 60%. :o

Once a week or so I get out my laptop and update BitDefender. Today the AIS EDGE is running well so I upgraded Firefox and since that went very well, went ahead and used Windows Update to install SP 3. Everything worked perfectly. Both my laptop and desktop are running on XP Pro SP 3 and the latest version 3 Firefox.

A little off topic, but do you find that at times BitDefender almost closes the computer down? At one stage today mine had frozen everything for about 30 seconds, and when I looked in Task Manager it was using well over 100,000k of memory. This happens probably 5 or 6 times a day.

Using XP2, with 1GB of memory.

As a matter of fact, I did have that problem. I went and changed all the settings back to default and that corrected it. It totally hogs the processor when set to maximum protection.
