Japanese food is awful.

Wouldn't say awful. But then I definitely wouldn't say 'Oishi' either. :D

BTW, Is there another name the Japs can use other than 'Oishi'? :o

Kinda bugs me like hearing 'Aroi' all the <deleted>' time. :D

Anyone knows which restaurant has the Japanese food like thatSushi? :o

Try Sushi Tsukiji in Soi Thaniya, Silom – it’s one of my favourite Japanese restaurants. Everything is very fresh and they make great otoro sashimi (which is even better when washed down with some sake :D ).

Mass-produced plastic chains like Fuji and Oishi are just that: mass-produced plastic chains.

If you want something a little higher up the chain, try Maru or Nobu on Soi Thonglor, or Sake no Mise or Tsukiji on Soi Thaniya.

So true. Never been to the ones recommended by Pvt Dick. But avoid these chains(Fuji, Oshi) The food is very average. But do try Takatei. You will be surprised with the quality and prices. Awsome!

That may be a reason I haven't found a Japanese dish fit for my fussy palate.
