It's good for clearing tension and balances the blood pressure. People can suffer from tension and stress, moaning is a way of releasing pressure. We don't always mean what we say, and should not be taken too seriously or consider anything quoted on these posts as personal. As for those Farang settlers here who haven't found Thailand meeting their expectations, remember, there is no such place as Utopia. So now you are here, make the most of it. Alonso's Army Posted June 13, 2008 Share Posted June 13, 2008 Because cost of living in the 'West' is shit compared to Thailand, people from the West would make money and go to Thailand to build their own homes, start business or w/e because it's cheaper exchange rate, where else if they do it back home, they have to pay a lot of land tax, tax, rent or w/e. For example: You can build a house in Thailand for around $80,000 AUD or less in Thailand, where $80,000 would just give you a deposit on a 3 bedroom average house that is worth $350,000.
