An old university friend owns a house down south which he rents out right now. He just Skyped me to ask how he can take 10,000GBP out. I said did you pay tax on it. He said yes. I said don't ask just order. He said the bank said only for educational purposes.

Years ago I asked Bangkok Bank if they would send my money out just as I had sent it in. They said no problemo. Perhaps they were just making me happy or were they talking about money I had records of sending in whereas my friend's is from rental?

So can he send it?

Do you have the same bank? Different banks may have different policies.
