Price Per Kwh?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know the price of electricty per Kwh before Vat etc is added.

We own our own house so we direct! We use around 10 units a day which includes tv, fridge, computer, fans and aircon running around 11 - 12 hours every night!

Just trying to get a rough estimate of what our first bill will be!

Thanks in advance

Last month we used 292 units and the bill was 970.67.

Since you'll use more then 150 units per month, the prices in 1.1.2 are applicable.

Do note you have to add the FT charge to those numbers, which currently is around 0.7 Baht per unit!

First time I've seen that, and I can now make sense of my bill - cheers Monty.

I think Tailand must be unique in having progressively higher costs for the more you use, normally high users get a discount :o

How many times in how many threads does this question need to be asked and answered?

It's a form of subsidizing the poor with money from the rich!

The poor in their little shack with just a few lightbulbs and a radio/TV end up paying next to nothing.

The well of people with their ac's pay a lot!
