My wife's sister is a thai chef with qualifications and currently working in Oz,she would like to come to NZ and work in Auckland where she has a possible job offer at a resturant .i have read on the NZ imm website about work visa's for Thai chefs and it looks like as long as you have a job offer and qualifcations it is possible to get up to 3 year visa. Anybody know much about this? Can she apply for a work visa from Oz ? or possibly come to NZ as a tourist and then apply for work visa using the job offer ?

Any help much appreciated
