Has anyone been able to buy dried 'marrowfat ' type peas in Chiang Mai.

A recent thread 'mushy peas' had some replies for stockists in BK and PT but I have tried many places up here in CM with no luck.

I do find it strange that I can get all manner of dried beans and lentils but not peas.

On the Shopee site they have Ayam Processed peas* in tins,

these are Marrow fat peas, if you want mushy peas just

squash them up         * from Malaysia don't know if they

sell them here yet. 42 Thb big tin.

For mushy peas forget the tins etc - go to Villa and buy the dry green split peas in packets (McGarrets ?), they make superb mushy peas n

Hmmmmm, I havent thought of mushy peas in a while. Anybody got a good recipe from their gran?
