June 18, 200818 yr A HOUSEWIFE got herself in a spin yesterday after she became trapped in her TUMBLE DRYER. The woman was defluffing the machine when her arm got stuck. She then spent 30 minutes trying to wriggle free before an alert neighbour heard her cries for help and dialled 999. The unnamed woman was finally freed by firefighters in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. A brigade source said: “The woman’s hand was wedged between pieces of plastic and she was in quite a bit of pain. “Firefighters administered an analgesic gel to numb her hand and used a saw and snips to free her.” She was treated for bruising by paramedics. Tumble trouble ... danger drier

June 18, 200818 yr This is an outrage !!! The woman has oviously been reading war books where cowardly malcontents shot themselves in the foot to avoid fighting !!!! Her husband must remain strong and get her back to the chores without delay.
June 18, 200818 yr Can't wait for the 'straight brigade' to have a go at us for laughing. You know the sort of thing: "This is no laughing matter she must have been very distressed. People die using their washing machine all the time, think of the trauma for their families!"

June 18, 200818 yr Maybe her fave record was Dead or Alive - You Spin Me Right Round. A rather tenuous link with the 80s thread.
