Where do you think will be the best place to spend farang NYE in Thailand out of Bangkok / Pattaya / Phuket / Samui?

Do you think the police will make an exception and allow bars / discos to open late or will they burst in and p!ss test everyone at 5 minutes past midnight?

xmas eve and new years eve in pattaya will be 5 or 6am.

I would say go to Phuket for a fantastic New Years eve, I have spend the last 3 at the Phuket Palace Resort on Patong Beach, it was fantastic.

Phuket IMO sucks at NYE as most of the girls (BGs) go home to see family ,or are with their boyfriends, or out partying with their female mates . Same in Pattaya , empty bars with no girls .

This is peak season , too many drunken farangs ,going mad with fireworks and girls gone away.

In the past i have walked along walking street and the bars have no workers !!

In Phuket at Karon and Kata its the same , bars completely devoid of any females .

I was in Karon last new years eve. No shortish of fun, beer or BG's
