Hi everybody,

We need to move some furniture from my girlfriends room in Pathum Thani Bangkok to Koh Phangan.

Since we both have a very low budget and both cannot drive a car we need somebody or company to help us out for a reasonable price.

It is not very much, a sofa, bed, fridge, laundry machine, and some furniture for a beautyshop.

If somebody has any ideas or knows a way to do this or can bring us into contact with somebody who can please leave your message..

Thanks in advance !

you might want to contact this moving company but don't know their prices. i just did the opposite move and was quoted prices in the area of 12000b for an independent truck and driver. gas is expensive i guess! you can move the smaller stuff under the government VIP bus from BKK- Phangan if you tip them a bit. i sent a bike and about 8 boxes that way before. you might also ask the post office if they can ship it. good luck!

Limpipong is your way forward. They have a weely truck leaving bangkok for KPG and they will pick up from your house and bring it to their depot. then ship to the island.

I moved an entire house load down there, last year inculding patio furntitur, massive refrigeratorr, bedding, kitchenware streo lcd tv etc etc for 8k. your stuff should cost considerably less

pm me and i will see if i can find their bangkok contact number

Ok, thanks and i'll send you a pm !

I also heard about the coconut trucks that bring the coconuts to BKK and come back empty..

It seems that some businesses here on the island ship their goods that way..

If there's anybody who knows who to contact please let me know..

More suggestions are still welcome..

Biggest coconut distributor I know of is a man named Dae Bun, lives in Ban Tai. His house is opposite the huge pile of coconuts in Talat Mai in Ban Tai. Not directly opposite tho, so you'll have to ask for Dae Bun's house. Not sure if he speaks any english tho.
