machlad Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Hi What are the choices like at the airport for transfers to a hotel??? Hope to be staying at chaweng beach and it will be a couple days before new years so I guess it could be busy. It does advise on sawadee to have your hotel arrange a pick up or book it online with them for B300, but I thought I would see what info I could find out on here. Thanks I have read about the taxi mafia, I guess I should avoid them.
happylarry Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Well if the hotel is only going to charge 300 baht then go for it man....better than having the worry of a taxi charging you 500 upwards. HL
koheesti Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 (edited) Some hotels/resorts will pick you up and take you back to the airport for free. Ask when you book. I live in Bangrak and went to Lamai for a week and the hotel even came to pick me up from my bungalow and brought me back. The taxis would have cost the same as I paid for one night. PoorSucker Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 All it says it's 90 baht surcharge. Per person? Per km? Per beer you have been drinking?
