Standard View Is Now Default For All Users

Featured Replies

We have removed the option to change topic view (threaded view, linear view). All members are now redirected to the Standard view.

Hope this helps members who are having problems with the topic view settings.

Cheers

Very very disappointed to loose outline/threaded view - hope that this is just a temporary measure until you sort out the new release.

It's very tedious when revisiting a topic to have to page through everything that has been written and which one has often already read several times.

Is there any way this mode can be revived in the future, even if it's a protected mode?

agree, pls make the option like before available somehow. It is not modern use of technologies this way either. I guess now more have problems with this open postings, then before with this option to work with? I never tried this option button, because for me it was just cool the way it was presented.

Hope there are many more to point on the status before: outline/threaded view. Actually it was "Standard" for me from the beginning, when joining this forum. :o

George, I am sure you are aware of this fact, but any forum user who was in 'outline' mode when the selection mode was disabled, now cannot exit that mode.

The only option for such users to access the forum is to employ a new browser (eg change to IE if one was using firefox and IE never used before on this forum), or to clear all the temporary internet caches.

There may be many people out there who have been 'disconnected' from thai visa by this upgrade.

It would be just wonderful if you could re-enable outline/thread view mode again, once the current 'no content display' bug is removed of course.
