how long is a piece of string? it depends who you work for, what quals you have, where you are, if you are doing it yourself...........

Anything from 1 month to 6 months

Mine didn't take longer than a month or so, and if your school has it's act together and you have the 'right' quals I personally don't think it should take long at all (say a month or two TOPS!).

I am promised mine tomorrow - 6mths

I got mine well within a month or so, but did have to go to the MoE for an interview.

Just spoke to our WP lady here and she said around a month (for Bangkok!). We're doing one in Pattaya at the moment as well so I'll try and find out how long it took there as well (and I can do the same for Phuket & Chiang Mai).

Yes indeed it is and I have been told that I have a teachers licence - although I havent seen it yet!

Only had to go to the MOE to pick up the WP.

You should have one (although I've never actually seen mine either) as that's the first part of getting a WP. I'm surprised you picked up your WP from the MoE and not the Labor Department?

Quickest I've ever had a TL processed was about three weeks.
