No i wouldnt, not if a player in his prime years done this, if it was Scholes / Giggs that different as theyre at the end of their careers.

When you're a club, that's striving on all fronts,to win as many trophies as possible,you need high class players in back up positions.

Of course its in the interest of the club, just not in the players to sit on a bench for over 50% of games

My other gems include Chelsea cant financially compete with ManU or Real Madrid and SWP being a central midfielder

Do I count as a real supporter mate (since 1968) and was in the Shed at Stamford Bridge the day we were almost relegated to the old 3rd Division and was there also when we got promoted back to the old 1st and many games in between and after including all of the FA cup finals , ask the true supporters and they will tell you Bridge is the better defender anyway, why we brought that <deleted> Cole in the first place god only knows and under this new manager I think that the bench warming is going to be done by him instead so fair play to him why go to another team outside the top four and win f***all.

Wayne Bridge epitomises the difference between today's top players and the rest of us.

If that's what he thinks then I must say I would tend to agree with him. Haven't been all that impressed with Ashley Cole and have you ever noticed that if he's facing forwards, the only pass he has from the left side is a back pass as his right foot only appears to be for standing on!
