Consumer's Corner

Featured Replies

Thanks to all for the advice on electrical safety in last Consumer's Corner..here's the next topic:

Thais, as we know, love to shop at Central. It's a status thing we know. But why oh why does ANYBODY shop there? Same gripe with Villa. I agree sometimes it's the only place that has a specific item (usually imported) that is hard to find elsewhere. But I reckon Villa charges, on average, 25% more for just about everything, while Central wins first prize in the annual Mega-Rich-Thai-Chinese-Gougers-Award! Most small appliances, etc, are also available at Tesco-Lotus and are 20-40% less than Central. Any other places you'd like to add to my list? Or perhaps you'd like to defend them..
