To all you techies on TV:

Instead of buying a separate LCD TV, can I connect a VCR which has a TV tuner to watch TV programs on my LCD monitor? Thanks.

Not sure what this is doing in the support forum but..

It will depend on the inputs of the LCD, I have one screen on my desk that has a TV input (hence wouldnt even need the VCR, could just plug UBC box direct to it) and another on on the desk that only has a DVI / VGA input, if I was trying to connect a VCR to the second one the VCR doesnt have a VGA or DVI output.

Many new monitors are coming with HDMI connections which new consumer electronics will also support for hidef outputs.
