Does anyone know of a reliable person to diagnose and repair a washing machine who could do a house call rather than hauling the machine to a shop which I don't have the means of doing? It is a good quality machine (or at least was supposed to be) so I'm thinking it is worth spending some money on it, within reason of course.

Saha Panit on the road to Mae Rim can send their service men out to your house. They have different crews that go in different directions, the one that goes north has provided good service.

If it is a Hoover top loader I am pretty adept at taking one apart (and even putting together again) so might be able to help with diagnosis.

If you will google "washing machine troubleshooting" you will find many sights dedicated to helping you diagnose and repair problems with American typ washing machines. I do not know if this extends to the Asian machines that are more commonly seen here or not.
