I originally joined to get advice of a legal / visa-related nature, and found loads of great info and related links from usually pinned topics in the visa section.

I got some great advice of a personal nature (relating to the health of a family member) from a regular on here in a couple of PM's.

I joined TV when I already had 4500 posts on another Thai forum. There was not too much new or untold.

But piece by piece of info have built up.

And general news and info from the field is what keeps me up to date, banks, real estate, new cinema in Pattaya....

One outright benefit that I would not have stumbled accross on my own is Thai Visa car rental, I can't tell how convenient, inexpensive and reliable they have been.

An odd sponsor or 2 - not sure if it was here that I learned about Big John's meat pies at Thong Lor a few years back.
