Pre-electric (shaving) Lotion

Featured Replies

I always apply some pre-electric lotion on my skin before using my shaver. In Bangkok, I've always gotten it from Boots so far but Boots here does not seem to stock this anymore (been to about 15 Boots'es recently but couldn't find it).

Anyone know of any shop in Bangkok that has got this lotion ?

Cheers,

Jem

I asked this same question some months ago. I have not found a normal (cheap) pre-shave in Bangkok now that Boot's doesn't have it. If you look around some of the cosmetics counters in a place like Central some that carry men's products have it. I think one bottle I bought was around 700 THB. I forget the brand. What someone did suggest to me was just to use the talc power and I've found this is better for my face and a better shave and much cheaper. I use the cooling power you can get everywhere - works great.

In Pattaya have same problem for more than a year tried Boots and other chemists and none seem to stock it.

I gave up looking for decent (and cheap) pre-electric years ago. I used to use "Cool Wave" or "Blue Wave" from Boots, can't remember the name. If you have oily skin, you can do what I do - shave before you have a shower. The natural oils help lubricate the blade. Shaving after a shower is painful for me because the skin is soft and tender.
