Which is why I stated that I wanted to make at least one payement.

200,00 is probably the right amount to go for.

Cleverly I have kept a few credit cards running that I use from time to time and pay off once every three months.

Very clever indeed.

you will findthat anything over 1000 pounds is bought up by collection agency after 3 months default, I divorced my wife 14 years ago, she declared herself bankrupt , twice a year I have to go before a magistrate with proof that I am divorced, if they do this for 3,800pounds what they willdo for 200K I dread to think!! I thought my troubles were over when I emigrate to Australia 10 years ago, but they show up twice a year any way, they have even been after our son , he was 15 years of age when his mum ran up the debt, there are no statute of limitations for the UK!!!!
