In my previous career, I worked for many years as a software and systems consultant (telecoms, satcoms, PHP, Perl some SAP etc).

I've noticed from browsing 'Jobserve' over the past year that the most common type of software contract work in Thailand is for SAP consultants, typically working with the financial modules.

Always wanting to provide a 'back-up' employment option, I wonder if it would be possible for me to cross-train into the SAP arena.

Is there SAP training avalable in Thailand? My searches of the SAP university website always turn up the response 'No training courses in this region'.

Is anyone on TV working with SAP in Thailand? Is there a demand for mother-tongue SAP consultants who can also speak/write Thai?

Any advice much appreciated

I asked one of the Software guys working with us, a Singaporean, he tells me that there are courses available in Singapore - That might be your easiest route.

Hi Simon,

There are lots of SAP training and certification courses available in Bangkok.

Some of SAP's training partners in Thailand are:

Piyathana - www.piyathana.com

Genovate - www.genovate.com

Zygen (I'm not sure if they still provide training) - www.zygencenter.com

If that fails just call SAP, they would be more than happy to help you out seeing as how much money they make from the training fees.

Good luck
