Guess what? There's a very nice guy at Wat Pa Pao, not a monk, by the name of Khun Dee. He's adopted about 20 or so stray cats. If you want to donate food, toys, flea sprays, or a whole lot of cuddles, the cats would love it.

Where's the Wat? If you're outside the moat on the north side of the old city, you'll be travelling west to east. On your left, not far before the curve, there's the wat. Go inside, turn left just past the food stall on your left, and head on back to where the parking tends to end along the back of the temple. Up those wooden steps on your right, that lead into the back of the temple, you'll find a bunch of furry sleeping beauties.

Telling you how to help spay/neuter and vaccinate these and other strays might violate a policy or two around here, so just go Google "Michael LaRocca" in quotes. You'll find my website, guaranteed, and it links to all kinds of Wat Pa Pao cat info. Or just send me a PM here and I'll tell you what's up.

Thanks!

Hey, do I get an award for reaching 100 posts? :D

Not if you keep talking to yourself. :o

re. your other thread requesting a Pets forum, I think there should be a separate "Gardening" forum.

The "Plants, Pets and Vets" forum is too full of dog threads.

Or maybe have a separate "Dogs" forum since that's what 50% of the threads here are about.

Sometimes that's the most intelligent conversation I have all day.

No, seriously, I think this thread is a nice little hideaway for planning. Looking for Eek, Ulysses, Priceless and the rest of the gang...

No, but you get a guaranteed private litter box that's cleaned out 2X a day when you get to the next life..............

The folks that were mean to the kitties will be the ones cleaning it.

The cats at the Wat are super affectionate and very cute. Give what you can, and if you cant, just go give them a cuddle!
