August 19, 200817 yr Makes me depressed just to know that someone at North Dakota University got paid a lot of money for coming to that conclusion. Arnold Judas Rimmer of Jupiter Mining Corporation Ship Red Dwarf
August 20, 200817 yr 'researchers said a larger study was now needed.' They would say that, wouldn't they. They want a grant to pay for their own lifestyle. Anyone on suppresant drugs is liable to drive beneath their normal abilities. Like those under the influence of alcohol. Can I have the grant money for such an obvious answer? Pretty please!!!
August 22, 200817 yr In my opinion its: because they don't have common senses. They don't see the risk what could happen in case the car in the front have to make a emergency brake, etc.
August 23, 200817 yr In my opinion its: because they don't have common senses. They don't see the risk what could happen in case the car in the front have to make a emergency brake, etc. Sorry but I couldn't disagree more, and I say that with 14 years accident free driving in Thailand behind me and hopefully a few more in front! There is no such thing as 'common sense.' EVERYTHING is learned. Without knowing it, I began learning about good driving as a kid sitting alongside my mother. Important facts: 1. THE MOTOR CAR IS VERY NEW TO THAILAND! 2. We live here in a nation where a Minister of Transport once said that he "saw no need for the driving test"! Most of the moronic behaviour around us is caused by first generation drivers who have never passed a real test and/or been allowed by stupid, indulgent parents to ride motorcycles at age 10 and drive cars at age 14. I see these little heads bobbing up and down behind the handlebars and steering wheels all the time. So do the police, and of course ignore them, especially if they were spawned by 'poo yi's' or the vehicle number has the hidden "stay away cop" code. All we can do is be alert at all times and do all their thinking for them.
August 23, 200817 yr ^ Fully disagree. Everything I've seen on these roads indicates the next generation of drivers will be even bigger wanke_rs than this generation. So, so beyond making excuses for the driving habits of the locals nowadays...
