Might help if you filled us in a little on your personal details. Gender, age, basic interests, aims, likes/dislikes etc etc. Otherwise the old question how long is a piece of string comes to mind.

btw be prepared for a cartload of cr@p, ignore it and look for the real info.

Yes, hence when I view the post every one of those links is for Viet Nam. :o I do recall the OP saying he was going to Thailand.

Anyway the OP has not returned, his question was definately of the "I'm moving to Bangkok how much will I spend per month?" variety.

hey everyone..sorry that I answer so late, I almost forgot that I had a post here.

I 'm so stressed with the situation in BKK .I'll be in bangkok in a week and really don't know to cancel the trip or not.

If I want to cancel the trip myself the agency took 60% of the price..so I think I'll be in thailand i 15th of sep :o

So just wanted to know what to do to get the best out of my trip..and a question Is the asia hotel near the protest area??? I don't know where is the protest area in Bkk.

and for now I've gathered as much info as I could about the tours, tourist places and ... But I need to know others opinion ,who've been there before

Here is a popular tourist destination in thailand. Check it out.

You will be okay don't worry about the protest, enjoy I stayed at the Asia hotels in BKK and Pattaya the first time I travelled to Thailand. Pattaya Asia it a sort journey from the centre your seventeen year old brother will have a great time, wish I went when I was seventeen!

Plenty to see around Pattaya and plenty of info on the web

Tip 1. Don't go to Pattaya.

Beyond the obvious nocturnal activities of Pattaya, it isn't exactly bursting with tourist attractions.

I did take an enjoyable day's walk up the hill at the south end of town to see Wat Phra Yai (the Big Budddha). On the way is quite a nice park with exercise equipment for public use (never saw anyone actually using it) and a lovely Taoist temple (Wang Sam Sien) about half way up with well kept gardens and rows of friezes depicting Taoist sayings). Great views from both temples.
