Revitalising The English Language

Featured Replies

I'm bored with the English language and too lazy to learn Thai, but then as I was once again browsing aimlessly through the Bangkok Post I found myself pondering over the meaning of Thai names, and then it hit me - here is just the source of new words English needs - bit of work to do, but then some of you may help. I'll kick off.

chucheep: looks inexpensive, but wait until you buy the refills (as in, "Darling, I want you buy me - it chucheep.")

Any volunteers for boonjumnong, maytheewibulwut, chonnapas, anuwat etc?

When I read out 'Terdpong' from the class list, I always have the urge to follow up with 'Yes, it do'.
