Smtp Outgoing Server

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me how to find the SMTP outgoing server.

Thanks.

It depends if you have it configured already somewhere and want to retrieve the info, or if you have never configured it in your email client before and want to know what it is.

The standard way is to ask your ISP. Or if you are using a web host, (for example you want the smtp server for your new website) ask them.

Maybe if you said why you need this, can suggest other ways to fix your problem.

Some one needs to send e mails via explorer, if that makes sense to you.

You can choose to use the SMTP of your ISP (the company who provide you with your internet access), and you can contact them to ask what it is.

Alternatively, since I dont know your email setup, if your address is something like [email protected], you can contact bigcompany.com (if this is different to the ISP company) and ask them. If bigcompany.com is your own website, you need to contact whoeever provides you with the hosting for your website.

Yep. The name of your ISP would help.
