You had me scratching my head how India came into your situation.

You can not obtain such a visa until after marriage. Immigration might consider issue of visa after marriage for the process of one year extension of stay. It would require you both visit an Immigration office (they are also located at a number of locations upcountry). You would need passport/arrival card and the marriage certificate would be required along with his ID card and home register. Believe he may be ask for some financial proof but do not believe he will be required to meet the 40k per month requirement of female Thai.

any idea if instead of home register, a rental contract is sufficient?

Your boyfriend will have a home registration document.

Every Thai has one. It will probably be his family home.

if that's d case then i have to enter thailand again on tourist visa n then get married here(given i have all d necessary docs to state that am single, birth certificate etc...notarized by my embassy here in thailand and translated to thai)...am i correct?

can i apply that non-immig visa O thereafter?

what wud b d best way to get this?

am planning to go back to my country end of this month...n it's impossible for me to get married now given that i have to personally ask for proof that am single from my home country.

n then, i came here 1st tym this yr in thai last april then this august, shud i wait for a couple of months before i can enter thailand again after i go home?

am still confused....

we are currently staying here in laemngop and we tried to call that phone no listed for laemngop immig bt no luck for us(nbdy seems so answer)

wer can i possibly get the exact address for laemngop immig....

thanx :o

Have you talked with your Embassy here in Bangkok? They have to issue the paper that you are single (although they may require you to get the paperwork from PI first). After you are married you can then apply for non immigrant visa and extension of stay after that. There is no need to wait any time before you return if you obtain a tourist visa. I expect a letter from your husband to be and a copy of his ID card would help with visa issue in Manila if that is a problem.

yeah!i tried to call phil embassy here in bangkok.indeed, they told me to get that proof that am single from my home country n they'll do the rest(certify, notarize n translated into thai)

i thot that after i finish using that tourist visa i have to wait for a couple of months before i can apply for another tourist visa.

what abt the income?my fiancee s the supporter, will the thai embassy in manila ask for any proof or income ???

thanks! :o

You should have proof of 20k baht if asked as that is a requirement for entry. Would not think Embassy would be asking about hour intended (and probably don't even need to know). But do understand the Thai Embassy in Manila is known for strange and extra requirements when they see fit.

before i cam here in thailand this august i was working in india n got my tourist visa there.they haven't asked me for any proof of income watsoever....

aside from this,am allowed to enter thailand for 30 days w/out visa....

is it okay if i enter first thai w/out visa making use of my free 30 days and later on go to some border(LAOS,MYANMAR OR CAMBODIA)n apply for tourist visa there....

n that way i can have 30 days + more or less 60 days

The airline may not fly you from PI to Thailand without a visa - otherwise it is OK. But even for visa exempt entry your required to have 10k baht with you on entry if they decide to check.
