OK in my experince, a "pimp" is some one who stays in the dark, avoiding any attention at all and not willing to make a display that would attract the notice of others.

Who is that guy who cycles around the streets covered in glitter, whats his story ? nutter or what.

He,s English and comes from a well off family-but slightly eccentric,they fund him regularly and keep him in Patts out of the way-this is what I was lead to believe last week.
