sawadeesparkle
I would like to find a doctor who can remove sun spots from Caucasian skin in Chiang Mai....probably with laser treatment(s). Not a cancerous situation, just a pigment variation. A friend asks if anyone has had a good experience with tattooing eyebrows and eyeliner?? Thanks!! elektrified
I can highly recommend Dr. Siri for laser surgery. There is much info about him if you search this forum.
john b good
One thing to remember is that most (in the realm) do not use "laser" but rather "IPL" (intense pulsed light) Why ?? I suspect that it is because a IPL machine costs a way lot less than a true laser machine. I was also advised by a leading dermatologist in the antipodes that Asian dermatologists are not so familiar with caucasian skin conditions. And if I were to believe anyone it would have to be a dermatologist in the antipodes. Why ? Well one of the reasons would have to be because that is where the highest rate of skin cancers, melanoma, carcinoma's occur. eek
Can i also state the obvious and say be very cautious about (stronger) lasers. Its just that in the wrong hands it can cause more harm than good, such as demarcation lines, rocasea, and burns. At least with something like ipl you will have a gentle result over a period of time, rather than a harsh treatment you may later regret. There are lots of clinics who can provide ipl treatments in CM, just make sure you check out the "doctors" credentials, what the machine is that they use (check it up on google), and how experienced they are at using the laser. Sorry, I dont have a personal recommendation, just a word of caution. Good luck.
jaideeguy
I rarely give recomendations here in LOS, but I can give one that I've been totally satisfied with for three years now.....It's the lady dermatologist in CM Ram1 .....Dr Vachiraporn. Just finished her internship at Boston University hospital and she is the only Derma dr in CM that actually knows falang skin. An added plus is that her english is excellent and she is beautiful as well.
