Well after 10 weeks of waiting my card (in fact they sent 2 cards, 1 Visa and 1 MasterCard) arrived! Very happy with the limit.

I can only imagine that the reason for the delay was due to checking my history back in the UK.

Just been onto Bank Of Asia's website and applied online for a VISA card. I don't even have an account with them!

Within 20mins of sending the online form, I get a phone call from BKK asking a couple of questions about my situation, work, permit etc.

I have to send them a copy of my passport, work permit, 6 months bank statement and company registration paper - that's it!

I pick my card up in 2-3 weeks!
