Rainy Season

Featured Replies

just wondering out of curiosity if it has started raining down there yet this year?

have all the tourists left yet?

I think we can safely say rainy season is looming in the not too far distance. As I remember from last year it was pretty soggy by the end of September. It's rained nearly every day for the last week and we had some crazy winds last night and this morning.

Pray for us girlx!

aw be nice to the dogs then! this is the hardest time of year for them there as the food-giving tourists all leave! :o not to mention the weather is miserable to be outdoors in!

Wind is still coming out of the SW. The true rainy season doesn't start until the winds shift and come out of the north. Sure, rain and wind but not the torrential hours long downpour that we get once the winds shift. That usually occurs sometime in late October but who knows anymore.
