September 17, 200817 yr Hi All I've trawled the Internet without much success, so have decided to ask here. Does anybody know of a good bike shop (or shops) in Thailand, where I can get a good road bike - mine is from the UK, old and had it's time so I want to buy a new one without having to import. Are there any shops here that have good bikes, say in the 1500 UK pound range - what would cost that in the UK I mean. We live in Phetchabun and there's nothing up there but good quiet roads to ride on. Is there anywhere in Bangkok or Pattaya that anybody knows about. Thanks in advance.
September 17, 200817 yr Hi I have not been to any of the shops in Bkk but heard a few people talking about these http://www.probike.co.th/ http://thaicannasia.com/
September 18, 200817 yr I bought several bikes from World Bike at Ram Intra soi 75 in Bangkok. Decent mechanic, not super like those at Probike, but bikes are cheaper. They carry GT, Giant and a couple others.
September 21, 200817 yr I'll second the recommendation of ProBikes in Bangkok, probably the best selection of good bikes in Thailand. If you're up in Chiang Mai, Jacky Bikes also carries a similar line. I bought several bikes from World Bike at Ram Intra soi 75 in Bangkok.
