What you were told could get her into serious trouble and is wrong.

Where is her entry stamp into Thailand after she has her visa so she can get her 90 days and admitted until?

Her best bet is to try for a local, ie KL, multi entry and use that for 90 day visa runs.

Alternatively a trip back to the UK but this is obviously the more expensive option.

Her best bet would be to go to Vientiane Laos. Apply for a double entry Tourist Visa. With extension this would get her almost 6 months. When finished do the same or do the 3 Visa Runs again.

She would not get a Multi Entry Non O Visa in Asia. Probably not a single either.

Yes she can apply for a Non Imm O in the UK,

BUT she must visit the UK to do so.

She cannot send the passport from Thailand.

Yes I agree KL is the best option for you

On what grounds could she apply for a Multi Entry Non O Visa in Asia?

I have heard that KL may be sympathetic to an application by an unmarried partner if their 'other half' is genuinely in Thailand.

It would be advisable to contact the Embassy before though.

UK consul would be alot better bet but then alot more expensive in travelling expenses too.

Agree with you that the tourist visa is a solid but more short term option.

The following link gives all Thai embassies/consulates in the world...

Unfortunately not all. I don’t see any consulates headed by an honorary consul listed in the USA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, probably also not in other countries.

I stand corrected I should of said that it does not include honorary consulates. Also delete the all there could be some not listed if the MFA does not keep list updated.

List of honorary conulates USA. Use pull down menu at top of page to get consul lists.

UK list of honorary consulates. List is at bottom of page.

Edit: No luck on Switzerland their website is really bad mostly in Thai with little info.
