DavidBrook Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Just had an email from my (new) Thai accountant. She says that a VAT invoice I claimed is rejected because (get this) the supplier missed out one line in the middle of the registered address of my company and I did not notice it at the time. Anyone else had a similar problem or is someone taking the piss out of Johnny foreigner? Are people *really* this anally retentive here? D
CWMcMurray Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 (edited) The short answer... YES If the name and address is not identical it will be rejected. Even if it is 1 letter... no typos allowed. Didn't answer your second question... doesn't make a bit of difference if you are a Thai or foreign or big or small, the same rules for everyone. Yep, been there and done that and like you learnt the hard way, I make extra special care now with invoices
