October 7, 200817 yr Howdy I have an Oz and UK passport. My Non B VISA is in my Oz passport. Can i pop over to the UK when my current VISA is expired and get a fresh VISA in my other passport, kinda, stepping around the system so to speak and stay for another year? Possibly doing the same the following year back in Australia? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
October 7, 200817 yr It appears you are talking about a multiple entry visa so the anwer would be yes. I can't see any reason why not. You are not dodging any rules such as getting around the 90 day in six months rule.
October 7, 200817 yr Author Because I've been told one can only get the Non Immigrant B VISA once (or at least once in a row), just wondering what sort of records are kept? If i whip out my UK passport in the UK for a new 1 year VISA, are they going to know my last VISA has just run out on my other passport? OR, have i just been misinformed altogether and i CAN get another 1 year non immigrant B visa in my Australian passport? Thanks for feedbacks
October 7, 200817 yr I have known of people having several years of non-b/o's in their passport. The same goes for tourist visa's. No rules against it that I know of. There have been reports and my personal experience of some nearby renegade consulates claiming that you can get only one visa a year and thats it. I think they say that because they don't want your business. Some have even put stamps in passports telling them not to come back. Sorry for the rant but its a sore subject. But not a problem now because I have a 1 year extension. You can get another 1 year visa without any problem in the UK or Australia. Edited October 7, 200817 yr by ubonjoe
October 8, 200817 yr I agree, there should be no problem. Do not show the second passport to the consulate, as they may record the fact in the computer. Then there is no way to link the two passports.
October 8, 200817 yr As far as visa is concerned there should not be any problem with two nationalities, but if the OP has a WP based on the current visa (OZ nationality), he may have problems in renewing the WP under the UK PP. opalhort

There is no need to go through all that, just get a new Non-Imm in the passport you already have one in. There is not a limit on legitimately issued visas per passport.

You have been misinformed, there is no limit on the number of non immigrant B visas (90 day/one year, single/multi-entry) that you can have.
October 8, 200817 yr Where I suspect the 2nd passport could be used would be to circumvent the 90 days in 180 (6 months) rule.
