I hear that there are problems with visas runs. Is it true that passports which  go alone on travel are impounded? Thanks for your response.

Yes, there is problems. Some 120 passports are currently siezed in Padang Besar / Sadao by Immigration investigators since last month. Most of the passports are from Bangkok visa agents. Seems that most of these agents have shut down recently.

Be careful. Travel by yourself.

O dear,dear..so to put it another way there are some 120 Non Thai happy holiday/visitors around the Bangers areas who are visiting their local "hong Nams"on a regular basis.Not worth thinking about
