twinkie
Hi. Wondering if anyone can shed any light on this? My wife (Thai) and I (Aussie) are just about to buy a condo in Bangkok. She has been on the phone from Australia and tells me that because she is married to a farang and has changed her name, etc. that we now have 3 options: 1. I must appear in person to sign that I am OK with her buying the property. 2. I can do this via my embassy here in Australia. 3. We can put it in the name of her Thai relies over there. Well, 1. is pretty dam_n inconvenient, 2. I'd rather not (for what should be obvious reasons) and 3. Best not to complicate things. It seems to me there should be some other option(s); does anyone know of any?
