October 23, 200817 yr Hello everyone! This question has probably been up before, but as in the "Read before posting'' thread it can be invidual, so i make my own thread. (Sweden 22 years old) To the problem... The 15th of september i landed in Bangkok and already had a Tourist visa that i had already arranged in Sweden thru the ambassy. So now i had 30+30 days and then went to the immigration office in Bangkok and made it 30 days longer. So now i had 90 days in thailand. The last day of the visa is in december. Now im here, in Cambodia and feel a little bit stressed because i will fly home to Sweden from Bangkok. But can i get in to thailand again with my visa even if i have left the country? I reed something about a re-enter application that could be filled in the immigration offices around the country (Thailand). But i always thought i could enter on my visa because i still had days left on it. Now i've heard i cant, tho. This re-enter thing, can i also do it on the airport of Bangkok? I thought id leave the 30th october and then spend a few days in Bangkok before going home. Ah, hopefully someone will answer that i just can get an re-enter permit at the airport. I hope that anyway. IF i cant re-enter thailand. Can i fly from Cambodia into Thailand the 5th of november and just change flight without needing a visa and so on? Thank you for your time. Robert Edit: Is it possible to get a visa on arrival for me? I guess not because i already have a visa. But can be good to ask anyway. Edited October 23, 200817 yr by sadhu
October 23, 200817 yr You can get a re-entry permit but you don't need it, it's just going to cost you money. You will get a 30 day visa exempt stamp when entering Thailand for free.
October 23, 200817 yr To late to get a re-entry permit. You can enter for 30 days on a visa exempt entry without a problem.
October 23, 200817 yr sadhu, you are in Cambodia at the moment and therefore cannot get a re-entry permit there. Anyway, you would not need a re-entry permit. You seem concerned about the maximum of 90 days of visa-exempt stay in 6 months but this does not matter in your case. The 60 days you got when you entered with your tourist visa and the 30 days extension you got from an immigration office are not counted as part of that 90-limit. When you arrive in Thailand from Cambodia you will receive a visa-exempt permission to stay for 30 days. -- Maestro The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
