Honestly it's easy to find the Thai-Chinese girls if this is really what you like.

Just don't hang out at Nana drinking beers :)

Anyway with my large roman style property, bmw x6 and the bi-coloured mini cooper I never use that's parked in my front yard's parking it's kinda easy, yes.

dam_n, I knew I was going wrong somewhere, I guess my 999Baht push bike from Tesco, and 2,000baht amonth studio room with out aircon just doesn't cut it.

Okay I'm off to buy some clean Chang and Singha singlets and Ill start drinking Siam Sato.

Just try to date one of them by asking nicly ... they are shy in general to speak english let's say with Falangs.. you have to know a bit of Thai or Chinese .. something in commen .. unless if the girl was growing up abroad..

but they are really shy at the begining .. and specially if you looking for a worker g.f who works in the airport or an office..

i'm sure you'll find who's opened minded as well ..

just dont try to rush up .. it might be the wrong step in future. =)

Good luck

When I first came to Phuket in 2001, when I was in my mid 20's, I courted a Chinese Thai, from Trang I think, for about 3 months. Beautiful sweet college girl. Finally she said although she likes me, she cannot be seen with a farang or her parents will cut off her collage tuition assuming she has turned to prostitution fro extra money. I was bummed. As a white male, it 1st time I was ever knowingly racially discriminated against. In retrospect I should have gone to meet the parents and offered to pay for her education. She wanted to be a tourist police officer.

This thread will not die, and now Im contributing.

And the last post before mine was, surprise surprise, a post about local racial discrimination, and tourist Police.

And your point is?

Sorry, I was too sarcastic.

Just that the last 2-3 weeks the vast majority of posts and threads on TV have been about Police, Tourist Police, and discrimination.

Do the Thai Chinese speak Cantonese or Mandarin? Where in Thailand are they concentrated?

Many if not most speak taechiew, although it's not uncommon for them to learn mandarin as well. You will find them everywhere in Thailand.

I've had a few dates with Thai Chinese in Bangkok. Not for me. It's interesting how after a few words of conversation they like to tell you that they are 'Chinese Thai', they say it expecting them to suddenly seem more attractive. :)

Personally I prefer Thai Thais, or Phillipinas.
