I'm sure local Lamphoon residents won't mind repeating or extending their previous replies and to the rest of you - there are a whole bunch of other threads you can read and post in. After 4 years in inner Chiang Mai I'm planning to relocate to Lamphoon (city) and as a step in the process I'd like to stake out the town by means of walking a couple of days. Are there any reasonable priced hotels or guesthouses in Lamphoon? ... Since there's an abundance of rooms that suit my preferences to be had for less than 400 Baht a day in Chiang Mai I would hate to pay more in Lamphoon.
