dthomasss
As the new Psychologist in town I will be offering discounted therapy for those totally confused by the two new but definitely different Expat "groups." Actually I suggest you check them both out. Perhaps even be bold and join both...
BigJohnBKKPieman
I must admit I'm a bit confused about the bickering between and set up of two expat clubs. I thought the idea was for expats to get together and help each other. If these sorts of divisions happen now and can't be overcome, what will happen in the future? Will someone else want to start another Bangkok expats club? How many will there be? Makes me think twice about joining. I've always been the sort of person able to stand on my own, ready and willing to help others. Never felt the need to join a club. -- Commercial advertisment deleted from this post. /Admin --

Pannakaya
Hi Anyone, Actually, it could be nice if anybody, please, could explain the exactly difference between Bangkok Expats' Association and Bangkok Expats' Club as well as the internal difference between Bangkok Expats' Club and Bangkok Expats Business Club. Already, I've met Joern from "Expat Club" and know thereby his explanation. Anyhow, maybe someone other than Joern and MekhonKurt could make it clear for us outsiders. According to the discussions in this forum if may be odd coming in both clubs/associations… /Robert Kronberg

samran
Check out: http://www.southerners-bangkok.com/ Southerners is an informal, non-commercial Bangkok club of expats and Thais who enjoy a game of sport in a friendly environment. The feature of our club is a strong, but relaxed social atmosphere that we take with us on the sporting fields, or out for the night. We field teams in the Bangkok Rugby, Netball and Cricket competitions and we have Men's, Women's and Mixed Touch Rugby teams. We also have regular social mixed teams. While started by a bunch of Aussies and Kiwis, we now have members from Thailand and all around the world. We always welcome new members so feel free to contact us.
