Hi, Looking for a swing/slide/climbing thing for the kids. have been and looked at Central and they're anywhere from 40-80,000. is the anywhere else or anyone know of someone that wants to sell one.

I have been looking for the same thing.

After some research, my conclusion was: either buy in Bangkok or make it myself.

There's a place near the PTT on Chao Fa East Road selling metal ones (this shop also sells spirit houses and all sorts of things for home/garden). Price range about 15,000. Not sure about quality, though - certainly not as safe as the plastic ones sold at Central. Think you'd have to take a good look at all the joints and parts first. Don's Cafe has a set that has seemed to hold up over time.

I have purchased one of the heavy sets as metioned above, and it has done fine in the salty air for 4 years.  There are some signs of rust, but this is to be expected being exposed as it is.  I think we paid 14 or 15K for the set with two swings, a slide and the rope climb. I do not normally travel the road that these people were on,  but I could have sworn that they are no normally there.
