Validity Of 1 Year Visa After End Of Expatriation

Hello all,

I've got a question about visa... I've been a french expat in Bangkok for 2years, and my company has just renewed (in October) my 1 year visa and work permit, which are now valid until 30 Oct 09. However, my mission in Bangkok will end in late December 08, and I'll have to come back definitely to France. My question is : will my visa be cancelled the day I leave or will it be valid until its expiring date ?

If you have a 1 year extension based on your job it will finish the day your employment ends.

You will have to go to Immigration and apply for a 7 day extension (1,900 Baht)

You are on an extension of stay, meaning your visa will expire the day your job ends. At immigration you can get a 7 day exension for 1,900 baht.
