Recently, every time i reboot my PC (which isnt often!) it seems to loose all my cookies on Firefox, forcing me to log in again on all forums/websites etc. I dont know if it does the same in IE, as i never use it :o

I've checked, and i've not got any spyware/malware protection running (i just disabled my antivirus/spyware protection to test if it was that) - so i'm unsure whats causing this.

Do you think it could be malicious or something innocent like a setting somewhere?

Any advice appreciated

Have you checked you FF settings?

Go to Tools ->Options and under the Privacy buttom check the Box for "Allways clear my private data" is unchecked.

But also check simlary setting s in IE, even if you don't use them

Thanks Reimar, but the "Always clear my private data" checkbox is unchecked/off

Had you checked IE settings as well? Or any other browser you may run?

And which OS you're using?

Have you checked the Recycle Bin for delete Cookies? Would be interesting they "disappears" or they in the bin!

May you install a logging software for to find out what's running on your computer without you know. Maybe download from http://www.whatsrunning.net the program Whatsrunning to check the different programs running on your computer from which you didn't know what they doing. But this is NOT a logging software.

For logging software just do a google for Computer Logging Software and chooose what you think do the jo for you.

Good luck.

Cheers.
