Looking to move to Phuket soon and was looking for a studio apartment with sea view for less than 10k a month. If anyone has any ideas on where i should start looking it could save me a lot of time and headache. I would prefer unfurnished.

I was gonna say the same thing.. But if all he needs is a studio (aka one room farang hovel) he could probably find that in Kalim.. If not sea view dam_n close it it.. Also dam_n close to the muslim wailing man speaker set but hey.. 10k innit !!

The problem is once you leave Kalim theres nothing budget all the way to surin.. All the Kamala stuff thats on the sea / west side of the main road is going to have a high tourist premium and isnt really very built up to have many seaview apartments. The rest of that road section is all high end stuff.

Not Kalim or Surin but I rent an a/c 2 bed roomed house with a large garden and sea views in Rawai for 10 k.So there are still some bargains out there if you have time to look around.

I lived in the Bang Tao/Surin area for 2 years and I agree it will be hard to find anything with views in that price bracket.They want 20k for a one bedroom apartment in Surin backstreets

this time next year there will be bargains everywhere
