A Smiley Appeared On My Post

I posted on a thread and later, when I revisited it, I saw that a smiley had appeared on the top part of it (not in the actual box where the post is displayed but on the header, between my username and the date).

How does one insert these smileys and how can I find out who put it there?

When you replied in your post, you probably clicked on a smilie in the Post Icons (Optional) area before you hit Add Reply.

another problem lies in the fact that b and ) makes this:

B ) don't get b ) but rather (space is in between the b and the ) to show what I mean)
