Having Fun With Gprs Not!

Featured Replies

ok, so here's my story.

i bought am AIS internet sim because i thought the GSM signal was better than DTAC on Ko Phangan. Well it seems that even thought the voice signal is better, the GPRS signal sucks. i don't understand why that is! i am able to access all my web sites/email eventually, but it is way too slow.

so i signed up for another $1000/month contract for DTAC. Now the DTAC data rate a 10x faster than AIS (good news) but for some reason, i cannot access my secure webmail to my company in the states. the web server uses VPN i think and it looks like DTAC is blocking it.

does anyone know anything about VPN over DTAC? the DTAC tech support seemed clueless.

thanks steve

steve is dtac gprs good on ko panghan also do you know if its any good on samui.

thanks
