Write Permission On Iis Server

Hi

We're getting someone to create some content for us.

I have written some .asp code that allows our colleague (who is in a different country) to write content via our website to an SQL database and then the code creates a new .asp page on our server and updates the site map. It all works sweet.

The problem with this is that I have had to enable write permission on our server so that the .asp file can be written.

Just how dangerous is having write permission enabled? If it is too dangerous then is there an alternative?
