I Can't Listen To My Audio Files On My Mp3 Player

Last year, I bought a "Thai for Beginners" which comes with 2 audio CDs. I copied the CDs to my laptop and have been using them with no problem. I even made CD backups which I was able to use as well. I decided today to take advantage of my MP3 player and copy the audio WMA files from my PC to my Zen MP3 player which can read WMA. To my surprise, I got a message on my MP3 player that there was "no license to play this track". I did check the file's property on my laptop and it does have "protected content" in the license tab. I don't see anything on the book or the original CDs like some code. I would love to be able to "conveniently" take the audio files with me so I can listen to them. Is there anyway I can listen to these files on my MP3 player.
